Adam Giandomenico
CEO

Adam Giandomenico is a global business leader and serial entrepreneur, who has built 12 high performance companies with a total of 26 operations in 10 different countries. With proven expertise in global sales and marketing, product development, manufacturing, supply chain management and precision managed business operations, Adam motivates entrepreneurs and business leaders to achieve their goals by leveraging their strengths and identifying ways to rapidly scale their businesses.

Adam achieved a 10-year career as a professional athlete. After becoming a two-time U.S. National Windsurfing Champion, he went on to compete globally and placed 7th in the World Championships. He retired from professional sports at age 22 and invested in a Silicon Valley Startup, setting the stage for his transition into the corporate world. Rising in the ranks of business, Adam was awarded Top 40 Under 40 Executives in Silicon Valley.

While leading eight rapidly growing companies in Japan, China and the U.S., Adam devotes a portion of his time as an Angel Investor, providing capital, human resources and business expertise to companies that fit within his algorithm for success.

Karen Strauss
Executive Vice President

Karen Strauss has worked in book publishing since 1981, starting at Bantam Books as a senior publicist. She then moved on to The Free Press division of Macmillan (now Simon and Schuster) to become its Director of Trade Marketing. She directed and managed marketing campaigns for the leading publisher of social science and political books.

Karen joined Crown Publishing as Sales Manager where she directed a sales force of 20 reps while also selling national accounts.

In 1991 she founded Strauss Consultants, Inc. The company was originally created to service small publishers who needed representation into the large chain and wholesaler book accounts around the country. The group expanded to include specialty wholesalers and retailers. Strauss Consultants, Inc. works with publishers in the U.S. and abroad to help maximize sales potential and distribution needs. The company also serves authors who are looking to find broader distribution and an online presence.

Rick Frishman
Publisher

Rick Frishman has been one of the leading book publicists in America for over 40 years. Rick founded Planned Television Arts (now called Media Connect) and works with the world’s top book editors, literary agents, and publishers in America, including Simon and Schuster, Harper Collins and Random House.

Rick has worked with best-selling authors such as Stephen King, John Grisham, Arnold Palmer, Howard Stern, Henry Kissinger, Whoopi Goldberg, Tony Robbins, Smokey Robinson, Stephen Covey, Deepak Chopra, Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Brendon Burchard, Jackie Collins and 100’s more.

He has appeared on Oprah and on stage with notables such as Sir Richard Branson, The Dalai Lama, Zig Ziglar, T. Harv Eker, David Bach and Brian Tracy.

Rick is the co-author of eighteen books, including national bestsellers Guerrilla Publicity, Where’s Your Wow, Guerrilla Marketing for Writers, The Expert Success Solution, 250 Rules of Business, Networking Magic-Second Edition and Author101.

Rick has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in acting and directing and a Bachelor of Science in communications from Ithaca College. He is a sought-after lecturer on publishing and public relations and a member of PRSA and the National Speakers Association.

Scott Frishman
Acquisitions Editor

Scott Frishman has been an Acquisitions Editor for many years and has recently joined the team at Union Square Publishing. He enjoys the diversity of personalities that he has been privileged to meet in his career. He has specific interest in "Business", "Self-Help", and "How-To" books but enjoys Children and Fiction as well.
